Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Kavro, the team behind kavro.pro (“Kavro”, “we”, “us”). They cover the Kavro desktop application, the website kavro.pro, your Kavro account and any license you get for it (together, “Kavro”).

By creating an account, downloading or using Kavro you accept these terms. If you use Kavro for a company, you accept them on behalf of that company and confirm you are allowed to. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
• Give a real email address you can access — we use it to confirm your account, reset your password and send important notices.
• An account is for one person. Keep your password and license key to yourself; you are responsible for what happens with your account.
• Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else has access to it.
• You can delete your account at any time in your dashboard.

3. Your license to use Kavro

Kavro is licensed, not sold. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use Kavro under these terms. We keep all rights in Kavro itself (the application, website, design, name and logo).

Kavro Free

Free lets you design and test windows with the limits shown on the pricing page, for personal, non-commercial use — learning, hobby projects, trying Kavro out.

Kavro Pro

• Pro unlocks every feature, including building and exporting, and allows commercial use.
• A Pro license is for one person and can be active on up to 3 computers at the same time (or the number stated with your purchase or key). You can move it between computers in your dashboard.
• Pro is a monthly subscription and includes every update released while it runs. When the subscription ends, your account goes back to Free: your projects and the code you exported stay yours, but Pro features such as building and exporting are locked again until you subscribe again.
• Pro can also come from a license key (for example a giveaway); such keys give Pro for the time stated with the key.
• Kavro checks your license online from time to time and keeps working offline for up to 14 days between checks.

License keys

Keys from giveaways, resellers or our support are tied to the terms they were issued with (for example a time-limited Pro). A key can be redeemed once, on one account. Keys may not be resold or published unless we authorized it. We may revoke keys that were obtained fraudulently, leaked, or sold without permission.

4. What you make is yours

• Your projects, designs, images and fonts you add, and the source code Kavro generates for them belong to you. We claim no rights in them.
• The small runtime files Kavro adds to your projects (the window host and widget library for each language) may be used, changed and distributed as part of the programs you build, royalty-free — under the same plan that you build with (commercially only with Pro).
• Generated projects include open-source libraries such as Dear ImGui, ImGui.NET, imgui-rs and stb_image under their own licenses (MIT or public domain). Keep their license notices when you distribute your program.
• Your projects stay on your computer. Kavro does not upload them anywhere.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• share, sell or publish your account, password or license key, or let more people or computers use one license than it allows;
• bypass, crack or tamper with the license checks, or distribute modified copies of Kavro — except where the law expressly allows it and it cannot be restricted by contract;
• attack, overload or probe our servers, or try to access accounts or data that aren’t yours;
• use Kavro to create malware, credential stealers, or software designed to deceive people, harm their devices or get unauthorized access to systems;
• use Kavro in breach of the law or of other people’s rights, including the terms of software or games your program interacts with.

You are responsible for the programs you build and how they are used.

6. Prices and payment

• Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record: it takes the payment, charges VAT where it applies and issues your receipt. Its buyer terms also apply to the payment itself.
• Prices are shown before you pay. Kavro Pro is a subscription that renews automatically every month at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from your dashboard (Billing → Manage subscription). No further payments are taken, and Pro keeps working until the end of the month you already paid for. There are no partial refunds for the rest of a month.
• If a renewal payment fails, Lemon Squeezy retries it for a few days; if it still fails, the subscription ends and the account goes back to Free.
• If we change the price, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to your next payment, so you can cancel first.
• Your account is upgraded as soon as the payment is confirmed. If it isn’t within a few minutes, contact us.

7. Refunds and your right of withdrawal

If Kavro Pro isn’t right for you, write to [email protected] within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full — no questions asked. If a renewal charged you after you meant to cancel, write to us within 14 days of that payment and we will sort it out. After a refund, Pro is removed from your account.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you also have a legal right to withdraw from a contract for digital content within 14 days. Because Pro is delivered immediately, you agree at checkout that delivery starts right away and acknowledge that this ends the legal right of withdrawal once Pro is activated. Our 14-day refund promise above applies regardless.

8. Updates and availability

• We work to improve Kavro and may change, add or remove features. Updates are offered through the app and the dashboard and are checked for integrity before they install.
• A release may be marked as required, for example to fix a security problem; older versions may then stop working until updated. Required updates are always free for every plan that could use the previous version.
• Signing in and license checks need our servers. We aim for them to be available at all times but cannot promise uninterrupted service; Kavro keeps working offline for up to 14 days.
• Kavro AI (Pro) works with an API key from a provider you choose (Google Gemini, AiHubMix, OpenRouter, Ollama, Anthropic Claude or OpenAI). Your use of that provider is between you and them: their terms and prices apply and they bill you directly. AI results can be wrong or incomplete — check them before you ship. Keep your API key private; you are responsible for usage made with it.
• If we ever stop offering Kavro, we will give at least 90 days’ notice and make reasonable efforts to provide a final version that Pro customers can keep using without our servers.

9. Ending the agreement

• You can stop using Kavro and delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms — for example key sharing, cracking or abuse of our servers. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and tell you why. If we close an account without a breach on your part, we cancel the subscription and refund the current month.
• Sections 4 (your work), 10 (liability) and 12 (law) continue to apply after the agreement ends.

10. Warranty and liability

We build Kavro carefully, but software can have bugs. Kavro is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent the law allows. Keep backups of your projects.

• If you are a consumer, you keep all rights the law gives you — including the legal guarantee that digital content is as described — and nothing in these terms limits them.
• We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health.
• Otherwise, and for business users, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when Kavro gains new features or the law changes. For important changes we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they apply. If you don’t agree, you can stop using Kavro and delete your account; if you bought Pro in the last 14 days, we will refund you. The date at the top shows the current version.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Poland. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts. Please contact us first — most problems are solved quickly by email.
